吉林北山冰雪大世界坐落在风景秀丽的北山风景区内，始建于1998年。北山冰雪大世界是在北山滑雪场原址处改建。吉林北山滑雪场是我国最早的滑雪场。吉林北山冰雪大世界占地10公顷，所开展的体育项目更加高雅、时尚。这里夏季可以滑草，并备有滑草板和滑草车两种滑草器具，还能射箭、打高尔夫球，体验真正的“绅士运动”。冬季，这里冰雪爱好者的天堂，有滑板、雪橇、雪圈、雪摩托等各种雪上娱乐项目。目前，它是全国唯一一座落在城市内的滑雪场。

Frozen World

        Built in 1998, the Jilin Beishan Ice and Snow World is located in the Beishan scenic resort. The Frozen World was reconstructed on the original site of the Beishan Ski Resort, which was the earliest ski resort in China. The Jilin Beishan Ice Snow World covers an area of 10 hectares, where more elegant and stylish sport events staged. In summer, people can perform grass skiing with two types of grass-skiing facilities, grass board and grass cart, and, in addition, people can practice archery and play golf to experience the real "gentlemen’s sports". In winter, it is a paradise for ice and snow lovers. There are a variety of snow recreational events such as skateboarding, sleigh, snow ring, snowmobile, etc. At present, it is the only ski resort found at a city center.
