北山人民广场工程是2010年吉林市十大重点工程之一，项目位于北山公园东南角，北起致和门立交桥，南至德胜路，东起越山路，西至铁路线，总占地面积18.58公顷，其中新开湖面2.44公顷，另建设拱桥一座，曲桥两座，亲水平台一座，凉亭一座，塑石瀑布一座。彰显吉林市依山傍水的城市魅力。

People's Square

        The Beishan People's Square project was one of the top ten key projects in Jilin City in 2010. The project site was in the southeast corner of the Beishan Park, starting from the Zhihe Overpass in the north and extending to Desheng Road in the south, starting from Yueshan Road in the east and extending to the railway line in the west. It occupies a total area of 18.58 hectares, including 2.44 hectares of newly-dug lake. There are one arch bridge, two curved bridges, one water-loving platform, one pavilion and one waterfall surrounded by plastic-concrete-made rocks. It manifests Jilin’s charms as a riparian city at the foot of mountains.
